THE BIRTH OF GET REAL MINISTRIES

Get Real Ministries International (GRMI) came to life in 2002.  After giving their lives over to the Lord in 1990, Pastors Greg and Debra Armand became ravenous to learn about this awesome Christ who redeemed their souls.

Pastor Debra began a Bible Study with her friend, Mrs. Linnette Davis.  By 2001, the Bible Study was so successful in spirit and in numbers that they were asked to move into a small church’s fellowship hall due to the overcrowding in the pastors’ home.  In 2002, the Lord spoke to the Pastors about incorporating the ministry and creating a church. He gave us the name “Get Real Ministries International”. From there, the Lord propelled the ministry into a multi-cultural, multi-racial, non-denominational church with the vision for salvation and restoration of souls and bringing the body of Christ to maturity and leading them into  successful ministry.

Today, Get Real Ministries International has partnered with Amazing Love Ministries to feed and cloth  the homeless in downtown Tampa, supplying toiletries, Bibles, helping some with job placement and ministering to them spiritually. Christ has also given GRMI the vision and mission to restore marriages and families.

Its in the pastors’ hearts to impact the Caribbean islands, South America and the nations with not just the Word, but with the grace and love of God by teaching  them how to build God’s Kingdom and walk in their divine calling and purpose. Our vision is global evangelism, through  missionary work.  Currently GRMI is building a medical clinic in the mountainous village of Clarendon, Jamaica and is soon to start building a church for the poor and needy in Barahona, Dominican Republic.

We believe every person called into a relationship with Jesus Christ, is called to minister the gospel. At GRMI every member is discipled to be a minister and to use their God-given gifts and talents to build His Kingdom.

GRMI has prayer and financial partners in USA, the USVI, the Caribbean, South America and are welcoming partners from all over the world.

GRMI is a growing church with Spirit-filled, dedicated, servant leaders.
